Study Groups for Law Students

Tips for holding law students utilizing study groups, including technology tools for scheduling and holding virtual study groups

Tips for Using Zoom

Zoom is what many of your law school classes use. This is because we have institutional accounts through BYU that give us more advanced features than the free Zoom accounts. For instance, you can use Zoom to have study group meetings that last longer than 45 minutes.

Features of Zoom to Help Your Study Groups

  • Record your Zoom study group meetings.
  • Use break-out rooms.
  • Use the whiteboard feature to draw in real-time. Let others annotate it.
  • Share your screen and let someone else control your remote.
  • Share your screen and let others annotate it on their computers.
