Department of Homeland Security (DHS)                                                                  

• U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is tasked with administering immigration-related benefits & services
• U.S. immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) investigates, detains, and removes individuals in violation of immigration laws
• U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) inspection & enforcement of immigration law at ports of entry across the U.S.

Department of Justice

• Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) is delegated authority from the Attorney General to conduct immigration court proceedings, appellate reviews, and administrative hearings. The EOIR Virtual Library contains Attorney General, BIA, and OCAHO decisions.
• Office of Special Counsel for Immigration-Related Unfair Employment Practices (OSC) enforces provisions of INA, Section 274B (8 U.S.C. 1324b) dealing with discrimination.

The Department of Labor oversees the labor certification process.
